Description

Register for Council’s free Native Garden Workshop at Floribunda Community Centre, 1 Floribunda Avenue, Glenmore Park between 10am-1pm on Sunday 18 March.

The workshop will show how by planting a variety of native plants and creating habitat in your garden you can provide the perfect home for wildlife, one that offers food and shelter for a variety of beneficial insects, birds and other small animals.

Ecological balance is based on biodiversity and gardening is a way we can bring biodiversity back into our backyards.

There are many benefits to having native animals and plants in your garden. Bees are natural pollinator, frogs stop pests like cockroaches from entering our homes while trees provide us with shade in the summer and hold soil together to help keep our waterways clean.

Fantastic lucky door prizes, free plant giveaway and morning tea will be provided.

Bookings are essential as places are limited.
